James Varela is an accomplished filmmaker, photographer and creative director residing in San Diego, California and abroad. He hopes to inspire others through his craft by creating meaningful visual narratives.
James' drive and passion for the arts began with a pencil and paints, establishing his creative roots. As many did, he experimented with his parent's camera at a young age, and through this hands-on experience, James gained a foundational understanding of photography, from technical aspects to creative composition. This comprehensive knowledge later blossomed into a fervent pursuit of filmmaking, driven by a desire to tell compelling stories.
His mission is the same today as it was from the start: Tell compelling stories.
